Products and lines of value
The project is organized in four lines of value that will come on stream as the Murcia plant starts up.
1. Biochar for water filtration
Biochar designed for industrial, wastewater, stormwater and municipal filtration.
2. Circular materials
Additives for cement, ceramics, compost and regenerative agriculture.
3. Carbon removal credits
Biochar stores carbon in a stable form. IBERIACHAR will certify its carbon credits with Puro.earth, which has its own methodology for biochar.
- Local agricultural and forestry biomass, within a target radius of about 150 km.
- Long-term carbon storage, subject to testing of our own biochar.
- Rigorous measurement, reporting and verification (MRV), with a view to independent verification.
IBERIACHAR is working toward becoming a Mediterranean benchmark in carbon sequestration, through a scalable model rooted in the region.
4. Distributed Renewable Energy
Pyrolysis generates process heat that can be harnessed as renewable energy directly at the biomass transformation site. This resource turns each facility into a local energy hub, lowering costs and opening new opportunities for companies and communities seeking clean, efficient and proximity-based solutions. A smart way to unlock the energy already present in the territory.
